I made this video collage for Mighty Good Men at Galarie Im Turm in 2018. The video is a collage of clips of myself and other found footage of men crying over dubbed with The Cure’s Boys don’t cry chorus played on repeat. The video is in response to all the white cis-men who were called out during the #metoo movement, as well as all the other men complaining about it.

I’ll give you something to cry about is something my father would say to me whenever I cried as a child, supporting the notion that men don’t cry, and if they do, it better be for a good reason.
