'I'll give you something to cry about' is a phrase my father would use when I cried as a boy. It meant that whatever I was crying about wasn't worth the display of emotions. From a young age boys are conditioned to believe that emotions are what separate masculinity from femininity and to suppress them at all costs.

The video approaches this subject by showing clips of white men crying, it shows that men do cry, but at the same time it also references the current climate of social change and with that the discussion around 'white male tears' i.e the complaining of white men about the change in their social structure.
